Delicious stories brought to life, with a sprinkle of mischief and magic and a good serving of puppets, music and theatre fun.
You’ll also have the chance to buy and sample food tasters from around the world, served and made with love at the pop-up Story Chef Kitchen created by Maison Foo’s Creative Sanctuary group.
In this unique Cultural Cooking Class with Maison Foo's Story Chefs you will learn to cook FALAFELS a traditional Middle Eastern dish.
You will leave having learnt a little about some cultural aspects from Iran, how to cook falafel, and a good taste in your mouth!
Each class will last 2 hours and take place upstairs in Derby Theatre's community hub.
Suitable for anyone that is aged 16 and over. No prior knowledge is required.

Our group is based in Derby and is open to those that are currently seeking sanctuary, and/or have settled in Derbyshire after migrating. We meet together for creative activities that support wellbeing, combat isolation and fosters community.
The current sessions run from 20th Jan – 21st April, every other Friday from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
