Maison Foo is passionate about education and outreach and is committed to advocating creative learning by offering unique opportunities for people to explore, express and develop their creativity and imagination.
The artistic team are advanced workshop facilitators and have trained throughout Europe in a variety of theatrical disciplines, specialising in devising, physical theatre, puppetry, clowning and voice; enabling us to deliver a wide range of residencies, workshops and educational packages tailored to suit the client’s needs.
Maison Foo will be taking on the new role of resident youth theatre directors at the Lakeside Arts Centre, Nottingham in September 2010. Delivering a creative programme for 5-14 year olds.

The company has also led bespoke workshops and residencies for the following arts organisations:
Déda – over a summer residency Masion Foo formed an experimental youth theatre who created a new street theatre performance ‘The Tourist Ensemble’ which was performed at Derby Feste 2008.
Dance 4 – working in partnership with dancer and rehearsal director Claire Cunningham Maison Foo developed a voice/movement masterclass for dancers to break down boundaries between dancing and acting through a creative exploration of physical and vocal techniques.
Derby Live – A series of workshops for Derby Live’s Youth Theatre to develop physical character, clowning, imaginative thinking and inventive play.
Lakeside Arts Nottingham – (East Midlands Children’s Touring Theatre Consortium) A day workshop for dancers developing voice, clowning and characterisation for the tour of ‘Telling Tales’. They have also created a site specific performance piece with the Lakeside's youth theatre for the International Children's Festival 2010.
Creative Partnerships - Collaborating with Story Moves Maison Foo have delivered story telling projects in various Primary Schools, using Puppetry, movement and story making to engage children in expression and creativity.
