In this enchanting and amusing adaption for the stage Maison Foo set Duffy's poems in a world where all literature has been banned... with secret literature societies determined to fight and the police hot on their tails. You are invited by the Grand Dame Alice and her bumbling assistant Violet to join them in a secret literature recital. Hear what the likes of Mrs Midas, Mrs Aesop, Queen Kong and Little Red Riding Hood have to confess... but remember... mum's the word!

'The World's Wife' was originally created for Derby Playhouse Studio and has since gone on to tour internationally, charming and delighting sell out audiences both home and abroad.
